Whether photographing the familiar or undiscovered, it is an opportunity to capture the essence of the subject. Whether in the studio, under strobes and softboxes, or in nature surrounded by daylight, every session is unique and has the potential to be extraordinary.
The goal when looking through the lens is to seize the beauty of the moment and preserve it for years to come so that you can continue experiencing the enjoyment. This is by far the greatest gift that can be given.
Some examples of this as a photographer would be when… Announcing baby’s gender in a memorable way The Grandparents take the dance floor at the wedding A Baby is born A 1st Birthday is celebrated A Graduation is acknowledged A Family Portrait is reserved A Sporting Event is played A New Home is purchased The possibilities are endless.
Thank you for entrusting Joy Cannis Photography with your memories. We are so grateful for our family of clients. We look forward to getting to know you and your loved ones in a more personal way and capturing the fantastic results for which we have become known.
She is organized, logical, reassuring, brilliant, and my right hand.
Emily is wife to Steve, and mom to three active little boys and one baby girl in heaven. I don’t know how she ever has time to sleep, let alone sit down for more than a few seconds. She is the definition of a superhero without the cape.
Emily will be the first one responding to your messages, emails, and calls.
She plans the sessions, finds locations, follows-up, manages my schedule, and often times assists on location.
In other words, I couldn’t do what I do without her doing what she does. I’m incredibly grateful for her and all the many things she does on a daily basis that make me not only a better photographer but also a better human being.
